Later, Ainsley stepped out of the hairdresser's shop, preening. Her coppery locks had been shampooed, blow dried, and French twisted. Her nails had been painted with a sheer pink, and she looked GOOD. She headed for her car, careful of the breeze and anything else that might muss up her look.
She headed for home, the drive not taking too long. As she pulled in, she noted that Aimee, Dave, and Clark had been able to work a plan, and this pleased her. She exited her vehicle, remembering to lock it-she had never bothered in Scotland, and in New York, her flat had a garage. She went inside, and heard Dave showering upstairs. She made herself a mug of tea, and headed up to find her fiancee, and dress for the ceremony.
She dressed quickly in her bridesmaid dress, and settled in at the vanity table that Dave had built and installed for her near her dresser. She smiled as she began her make up, and then again when Dave kissed her head as he walked past her to dress himself. Soon, she was made up, and ready, and finished her tea. She turned about to find Dave turned up in a suit, and looking dapper.
A snack, and then we should head outside...I need to check on the ballroom, anyway. They were hosting the reception in the "ballroom", as Dave's manse was old and convientenly had one.
