Aimee was putting the final touches on the decorations on the Sea Specter, the boat that the Team had used for the New Year's Eve party. She was proud of herself-she was GOOD at the party-planning stuff. She placed the last strand of garland on the bulkhead and stepped back with a smile. It looked GREAT.
Now, all she had to do was wait for everyone else to show up. She was there with Blackout, and Paisley Gregg, who had shown up early. The three had been chatting-Paisley and Aimee about girl things, and Blackout interjecting not-so-helpful suggestions to them.
Aimee had set up a grilling area, and had had Clark open up the Galley since David Rossi wanted to cook. Aimee was excited to see the Rossi's, Ainsley was pregnant, and Aimee loved babies.
She turned to Paisley, and Blackout, where Paisley was leaning against the chopper, snacking on some chips.

Paisley had arrived early to the Specter. She didn't have much reason to sit around her apartment, alone, so she decided she'd go help Aimee to not go TOO overboard. Paisley liked the teen just fine, but she also knew that Aimee got a bit too excited at times, and needed to be reeled in.
She brought along some veggie dogs and whole-wheat buns for herself, but of course would share with anyone else who wanted. She also brought deviled eggs she'd made herself, and some kugel that a lady from Temple gave her. Paisley HATED kugel, but she also hated disappointing the older woman, Mrs. Hannah Gold, so she always took the traditional Jewish goodies to the office, or in this case, to a party. If anything, she figured Morgan or someone would eat it-men weren't generally aware of what they put in her mouths...another reason so far she preferred women.
She had shown up, and Aimee looked slightly pained to see her, but BO had greeted her. Together, the three were able to finish decorating in plenty of time for the others to arrive. She made a face as Aimee barked orders, but she sighed, and did as the child asked. Paisley, more than most, knew how important a childhood was, and so she didn't mind too much.
Finally, when the last banner from the box of decorations Aimee had had been hung, Paisley helped herself to a beer and some chips, leaning against Blackout, as if snuggling the machine. She was feeling better these days, despite missing Sandra and not being sure what to make of Paola.
Finally, Aimee spoke.
Ok, you two. We're done! Paisley laughed, and nodded.
I'll say. Let me tell everyone... Once the TA, always the TA, and she dutifully pulled her cell from her "patriotic" purse, and sent a mass email to the team, telling them to get their butts there ASAP.
OK! I think all we have to do now is wait. I have sunscreen in my bag...and you should drink something so you don't get dehydrated.
