Aimee wandered into the Bullpen. She was looking for her brother. It was picture day tomorrow, and she needed him to write a check from her account. She could also see Paige, and maybe Paisley. She wasn't sure that the latter woman liked her too much, though. She wandered around, looking at the agents. Most were hard at work. She knew better than to interuupt them. She ate some pretzel M&M's as she wandered to the far end of the Bullpen, where the BAU worked. So far, she'd not been spotted by a Unit Chief or Strauss. She was doing fine.
She noticed Spencer's desk was empty. Where was that nerd?! She shrugged. Only Heaven knew. She sighed, and glanced around. Paige's desk was empty, too. Apparently, she wasn't back from maternity leave. She'd stop by the Clarks' on her way home. She noticed the Constable, and beyond that, Rossi and Clark were chatting. She looked around again for Hotch, and seeing that his office door was shut, and he was on the phone, she knew she had at least 10 minutes to find her brother and do her thing before she either had to duck out, or figure out a good fib for why she was there.
As she turned back to sit at Spencer's desk to wait, something caught her eye. A new Agent. Oh, how she LOVED new people. She wondered if he was single. Oh, not for her...Spencer had been sending her to counseling to address her daddy issues, but surely she could find another single agent.Ooooh, or the mom of the little boy she started watching after school two days a week. YES. With her best, slightly flirtatious smile, she approached said agent. Stopping in front of his desk, she spoke.
HI...maybe you can help me. I am looking for Spencer. Any idea where he might be? Of course, she could've easily interrupted Dave and Clark, but it was more fun to test her limits. I'm his sister, Aimee.

Chris had been delved into his workload since early that morning when he'd come into the office and hadn't left his desk but to use the restroom and get a few refills of coffee. He'd been recently looking into a string of cases in northern Iowa involving an unsub that was skinning his or her victims alive. It wasn't the most disturbing situation he'd heard about though it definitely ranked in the top five. Still, three bodies had turned up in the past six months leading Chris to believe that the killer would strike again some time in the following couple of weeks. Wanting to be sure that he had a decent lead and not just some run of the mill nonsense that the local LEOs could take care of in Iowa, he had taken it upon himself to make a few phone calls and get as much information about the killings as possible before walking into Hotch's office with what he'd found out. In truth, he'd not have even heard of it had a friend of his at the Hoover Building not sent it his way - that and it was on the news when he left his apartment that morning.
Despite feeling it would eventually come to a head and be one of the cases to look into, he didn't want to go in blind. The young man sat at his desk working diligently on his notes having just hung up the phone with an Iowa State Police investigator who fed him what little he knew over the previous half hour. He didn't even hear nor notice the young woman walking around the bullpen until she was half-way through her initial statement which prompted him to look up at her for a second. She was far too young to be an agent from what he could tell or was some sort of witness or consultant that had been brought in without his being notified.
It wasn't until she explained who she was that it all clicked in Chris' head prompting him to rub his chin for a moment then shake his head, "Sorry. I haven't seen him since this morning. I can take a message for him and let him know you stopped by when he returns, though I have no idea when that might be."

Ugh. He was SOO not responding the way she wanted him to. She stamped her foot impatiently-like the child she was, but pretended not to be. Where the heck was Paige?! Or hell, Ainsley?! Even Paisley...That lady was a trip, but at least she humored Aimee. Aimee tried a different tact, settling her self sideways on the edge of his desk. She twisted some hair between her thumb and finger while she waited for this man's answer.
Sorry. I haven't seen him since this morning. I can take a message for him and let him know you stopped by when he returns, though I have no idea when that might be... Aimee raised a well-manicured eyebrow.
Or I could just leave a post-it on his computer screen. But you see...what is your name?...that won't help me. I need him now, in the flesh. He won't answer my calls while he's working, unless it's an absolute emergency. But Senior Portraits are TOTALLY important, right?!Of course, she could just as easily have sat at his desk, and waited, but why do that when she could be social, too?? She glanced around-Dave and Clark had moved on. Paige was still nowhere. Maybe she was with Spencer. Aimee looked back at this dopey little man. Did the Bureau intentionally hire solely nerds?!
Or maybe you might know where Paisley is? Paisley would tell her where Spencer was-not only did she know where the team was at all times, she gathered that the older woman didn't exactly like her much, so she would tell her to make Aimee go away.
